Im looking for a few quick meals/snacks to eat before and after each session, as I'm guessing getting this correct would really benefit me.

Any help would be much appreciated Smile

It would be great to see what your currently eating from day to day to get an idea of what your doing right and what your doing wrong.

As someone who is new to working out we won't expect it to be a perfect bodybuilding diet but interested to see how many calories your currently consuming and where your getting them from.

A couple of bananas just as you go in to the gym works wonders. Or I occasionally have a lucozade body fuel or a bag of skittles. the sugar give you fast energy.

I like taking 1 banana or a rice cake or 2 slices pineapple.

This was my diet today, one of my rest days

7am- Two slices of wholemeal toast, 1banana, glass of milk
12.30pm- Noodles with added chicken, yogurt, water and some Rolo's Smile
4pm- two slices of wholemeal bread
7pm- chicken, potatoes and vegetable, water
9pm- two slices of wholemeal bread and a glass of milk

How should I be changing this diet on a training day?

All help would be loved. Thanks Smile

Shocked I eat more than that for breckfast!... Well nearly!

Without totally re righting your diet and laying out a propper bodybuilders diet here are a few MUST do tweeks.

7am- Two slices of wholemeal toast, 1banana, glass of milk (Either add or change to as many eggs as you can eat i.e 3,4,5,6, and a bowl of porage oats.)
12.30pm- Noodles (Wholemeal rice or wholemeal pasta about a double hand full) with added chicken, yogurt, water and some Rolo's (lol@rolos a hand full of arlmonds would be better.)
4pm- twofour slices of wholemeal bread a tin of tuna
7pm- chicken, potatoes and vegetable, water
9pm- two slices of wholemeal bread a 300g tub of cottage cheese and a glass of milk
