Im looking at really building up my abs/stomach - any suggestions on the best exercises/routines?

You say build up your abs but I'm guessing you want what pretty much 95% of men do and probably 99% of women. The elusive 6 pack!
Please dont be offended but I'm guessing your new to this? why not tell us a little about your self in the introduction section including exsperiance if any and your stats like how much your currently lifting and what kind of size shape are you in?
Getting a tight toned abdominal muscles is a two pronged attack. By that I mean just increasing the size of the abdominal muscles won't give you what your after. You also need to reduce your body fat percentage (bf%).
If all your after is great abs then your best approach would be imo to shed your bf using a well balance diet and a low intencerty cardiovascular program and introduce a solid once a week abdominal workout.
But if however your looking for an over all better shape including all the goodies that come with it like a wide back, broad shoulders, thick arms and solid legs then a beginners program full of compound power movements is what your after.
Let us know where you are at now and where you want to be and I and other members will do our best to set you in the right direction.

Before you reply I'll just say remember putting on muscle help burning fat. The more musce you have the more calories you need to keep going so cutting back is easyer.
