    hi guys ,

    after i train i sometimes feel tired slightly , not all the time but it will stay with me for the rest of the day , i know for a fact that im not over training, which leads me to believe its diet obviously . now i like to think that my diet is fine , which for protien it certainly is but what are the best foods to replenish your energy reserves and how much , i will say that my protein shake has L glutimine in which is supposed to help you recover , and would like to keep this natural if i can but would consider taking another suppliment . im also on my bulking cycle but very cautious about a high carb suppliment to aid me , cheers dudes

    Okay i have always seen it as carbs for energy ,fats for wel..nesesity and protein for muscle building blocks.
    Go and read these *energy drinks* They are either packed with carbs or sugars. Reason being that they give energy. THey make millions off idiots.

    Eat a banana before training and drink a litre of water whilst training.
    Pro's tend to eat oats 30 minutes before going to train and some take shakes too.(they can afford this).
    But they take 50% carb and 50% protein shakes. U need the carbs to get the blood flowing. Carbs burn the easiest for fuel in ur body and stay away from sugars.

    There is a saying I'm fond of, "Today's food is tomorrow's fuel" I think this is rather fitting.

    But I will also say your fatigue could also be down to the increase in stress on your body that until now you have not experienced. By stress I mean the constant need for good nutrition and plenty of rest. How much sleep are you getting of a night time? As someone who is training with heavy weights you are going to need more than the recommended daily amount of sleep (7-9 hours).

    Cheers guys cheers I will try my best but I cant quite eat as much as I'm supposed to. Hopefully as time goes on my stomach will get bigger as well as my muscles to fit the food in!
